Covid-19 Response Measures
Ack St. Peter's Cathedral, both as the Cathedral church and as a Parish led by Ven. Canon Isaac M. Wanjii has implemented a number of measures in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. In this page we have described the responses with respect to the Sunday Services and relief. We believe that Christ is still in control and we urge our members to base their hope on the solid rock that is Jesus Christ.
The Sunday Services
We have made slight modifications to our Sunday services as shown in the table below. The measures are to meet the government directives and to ensure the safety of our congregants.

New Routine Measures
- Every Christian will be expected to go through screening just after entering the church compound. Kindly cooperate with the person taking the temperature measurements. Also, remember your temperature measurement.
- After screening, you'll proceed to a sanitation zone where you'll clean your hands either by washing with soap and water or sanitizing.
- At the entrance to your preferred service, you'll be registered before you enter. Give your name, phone number, and your temperature readings.
- Sitting arrangements are altered to cater for the social distancing rules; therefore, sit where the ushers direct you.
- The church will be sanitized after every service and an allowance of one hour will be given to allow the church to cool before holding a subsequent service.
- Holy Communion will be given as directed by ushers so that only one person is served at a go.
- Offerings will also be given as directed by ushers. The basket will be placed at the alter.
- No materials will be shared and when that cannot be avoided, the materials will be sanitized.
- There will be no service books except for the clergy. You're advised to use the screens.
- You are strongly advised to leave the church compound as soon as the service is over. This seeks to avoid crowding in the compound.
- No physical Sunday school classes. However, the same continues online
- Kindly arrive in church 15 mins earlier and go through the screening and cleaning. Follow all regulations and obey the ushers' directives. Then leave the compound when done.
Note: There will be a medical response team in place ready to act on any emergencies.
