P- PRAISE: By worshipping God for who He is, what He has done, and what He will do. R-REPENT: confess your sins and ask God to help you change. A- ASK FOR OTHERS: intercede for the needs of others to stay focused in Jesus. Y- YOURSELF: ask the Lord to help you in your struggles and guide your future steps and other requests. E- EXPRESS THANKS i.e communicate how grateful you are to God e.g His blessings e.t.c. R- REFLECT: be quiet and listen to God. *This is a very important part of prayers HOW DO WE PRAY? FIVE FINGERS PRAYERS (JAMES 5:13-18) PRAYER OF FAITH. 1. Fold your hands - The thumb is the nearest prayer for those who are closest to you e.g family - Philippians 1:3-5 2. The index finger/ the pointer - Pray for those who teach Bible, Preachers, and those who teach children -1 Thessalonians 5:25 3. The tallest finger - Pray for those in authority, i.e in the country - 1 Timothy 2:1-2 4. 4th finger is always the weakest. Pray for those in trouble, suffering -James 5"13-16 5.
